What does it really cost?

Compare purchase price, setup and replacement assumptions over the nights you expect to use it.

Both options use the same assumptions. Choose your own duration; a warranty does not establish useful life. Estimates exclude tax, financing, inflation and repairs.

Make the difference tangible
Mattress A$0.42per night

$1,225.00 total

Mattress B$0.69per night

$2,025.00 total

$0.27 per night apart.

That is $800.00 over 8 years, or $100.00 per year. The lower-cost option is not necessarily more comfortable or more durable.

For a guest room used 60 nights a year, try changing the use estimate. For a faster replacement cycle, reduce the years. This is a budgeting scenario, not a prediction.

A fairer way to compare your budget

Cost per night = (purchase price + setup and delivery + disposal) ÷ (years of use × nights used per year). The calculator applies the same extra costs and use period to both mattresses so you can isolate the price difference. Change the inputs to test a different scenario.

Do not use a lifetime warranty as the expected life of a mattress. A warranty covers defined defects under conditions; it does not guarantee comfort or establish the year you should replace it. If one option needs a different foundation, include that difference in its mattress-price field.

For example, a $1,000 mattress with $150 setup and $75 disposal, used 365 nights a year for eight years, comes to about $0.42 per night. At 60 nights a year the same scenario is about $2.55. Those are arithmetic scenarios, not product claims.
