Mattress Index is a parameter comparison tool. We do not claim to have slept on or laboratory-tested these mattresses.

What the score measures

Price contributes 40%, trial length 30% and stated warranty length 30%. Price is scaled from the lowest to highest queen price in the full dataset. A 365-night trial receives 100 trial points. Warranty points increase to 100 at 20 years; a stated lifetime warranty also receives 100. Each component is capped between 0 and 100.

A longer warranty may have exclusions or replacement charges. This formula does not account for those differences, sleep comfort, medical suitability, durability or ownership costs. It is a sorting aid, not an independent product quality rating.

Dates and manufacturer sources

The imported dataset is dated April 19, 2026. The September 2026 website update did not reverify every product. Each row shows its original date; prices may no longer be available. Brand links lead to manufacturers, sometimes their homepage when an older model link no longer works.

Consumer ratings and review counts without an identifiable source have been removed from the display and structured data. A successful link check does not verify a product specification.

One example: trial length is not the whole policy

Saatva lists a 365-night mattress trial, with a $99 pickup processing fee for returns. This policy was checked on September 7, 2026; it does not verify the product prices in our table. Read Saatva’s trial conditions.

Funding and corrections

Display advertising funds the site. Advertising is separate from the comparison formula. Send a correction, the affected model and a primary-source link through the correction form. New AI-assisted articles require source notes and editorial review before publication.
